I'm really sorry.
I'll explain yesterday's random outburst.
My junior prom is in April. Tickets go on sale next week or the week after. I realllllllly want to go, but I don't want to go without a date. There in lies my problem. I have no options for a date. I can GUARANTEE that no one will even attempt to ask me, and I don't have anyone I can really ask.
I won't go without a date though, as much as it will kill me.
My friend who doesn't even go to my school gets to go, and honestly, I think that is what hurts the most. I want to go so badly and they just get to go because OUR [mutual] friend who goes to my school asked her to go. I know it's terrible to be jealous of that, but I am.
I'm hoping something amazing happens, but I honestly cannot see it happening, and that has put me in a really upset mood recently.
I know this is probably the most PETTY thing ever, but it is still bothering me.

It's not petty at all! Don't you have a cousin or a friend's brother that can go with you? I hope something happens so that you can go :)
